Corporate Training

Supervisory or Management Training and Development is today a critical pillar in many companies. CEOs and HR managers have come to understand that unless employees are successfully trained, their company’s future will not be sustainable.
In 2018, the staff of IBL Logistics, Rogers, Beachcomber, Eclosia and Swan comprised our Corporate Training student body. They took part in Management Development Programmes, some of which were specifically tailored to their needs. The Programmes succeeded in expanding their horizons, challenged and enhanced their understanding of management: modules ranged from communications and strategy to time management, coaching and mentoring, customer care, HR and Performance Management, Self-Leadership, Accounting and Finance among many others.

Kanya Santokhee, Head of Marketing, believes that HR Managers in Mauritius are giving a lot of importance to Leadership and Managerial training. “Staff is the most important asset in a company. Investing in staff increases their feeling of self-worth and belonging in the company, which in turn forges trust between staff and Management.” She also notes that “the delivery, content and choice of our trainers are some of the most important aspects of the Programme, which improves with every session thanks to the feedback we receive from our candidates and their managers.”
