Prof. Eric Charoux

Professor Eric Charoux is the Executive Director of the Charles Telfair Institute, Telfair, Moka, Mauritius.

Born in Mauritius, Professor Charoux immigrated to South Africa at an early age where he obtained a Bachelor, Honours, Masters and PhD degree from the University of Natal and that of Unisa. He is also registered with the South African Medical and Dental Council as a Psychologist.

After occupying a number of senior positions in both industry and academia, Eric Charoux founded in 1984, The Leadership Concept (Pty) Ltd, a South African consultancy dedicated to the implementation of large-scale organisational development and process consulting programmes. At the time of him leaving South Africa to return to Mauritius, The Leadership Concept counted as its clients some of South Africa's most well-known companies: Total (Pty) Ltd, SA Philips, Anglo American, Adcock Ingram, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Old Mutual, AECI Ltd, etc.

Professor Charoux is the author of four books and over fifty articles and research papers on topics such as Self-awareness, Affirmative Action, Organisational Development, and Change Management.

He is married and has three sons.
