A Scholarship drive at CTI

The corridors of CTI were teeming with students and parents. And it is no surprise: they were all eager to try their luck for a scholarship to study for one of the most prestigious degrees awarded by Curtin University of Technology through its academic partnership with CTI.

Indeed, for the first time in Mauritius, CTI 15 shareholders, some of the top firms of the country, have responded positively to the CTI Management's call to offer some scholarships to the most deserving students of the island to give them the opportunity to study for a Curtin University of Technology degree of their choice. 20 full- and 20 part-time scholarships were on the offing and 122 students came, each with the hope of getting one and everyone of them was prepared to give it his/her best possible shot.

The selection process has started with all its rigour. The successful students will be informed by the end of next week and their three-year journey with Charles Telfair Institute towards a Curtin Degree will begin on 23 February 2009.
