Teamwork: Tower-building
We call it Orientation Week at CTI, a tradition that stems back 11 years now. As fresh-year students enrolled on our Curtin, ACCA, or Challenger programmes begin their studies with us, our Orbis Court campus is abuzz with activities which range from formal welcomes and presentations to information-giving sessions and team-building activities. Our local and international freshers are given not only their indispensable academic introductions but advice of a more practical nature such as how to make use of the library and on-going recreational and social campus activities.

"We take much care when planning our bi-annual Orientation programmes," explains Odylle Charoux, Director of Academic Affairs. "Our research over the years clearly demonstrates that those students who do attend our orientation programmes perform better during their studies with us. This is a world-wide trend."

Outdoor trip
July's Curtin orientation was rather special in that it lasted two weeks and included a much-appreciated outing trip.
