The 2010 'Reaching New Heights' Programme is launched 15 March 2010

During the week of 15 March, CTI launched yet another customized Management Development Programme, this time for the Winner's chain of supermarkets, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the IBL Group.

On a regular basis, our shareholders and clients call upon us to customize for them one of our various Management Development Programmes. Hard on the heels of our Lead to Inspire programme customized for the Mauritius Commercial Bank and run a year ago, the Winner's chain of supermarkets approached us to develop and run a programme designed exclusively for its supermarket managers and assistant supermarket managers. A wholly-owned subsidiary of the IBL Group and the largest integrated chain of supermarkets in Mauritius, with 16 stores strategically located in various parts of the island, Winner's reputation is of course well established on this island.

Commenting on the new programme, our Executive Director, Professor E Charoux explained: "Our shareholders and clients are becoming increasingly conscious of the need to develop the managerial and leadership skills of their employees if they are to emerge from the current downturn and meet the twin challenges of growth and globalization. The Winner's organization is being avant-garde in its vision and thinking by adopting this enlightened approach to the development of its human resources. It is to be congratulated."

Professor Charoux went on to explain that CTI's involvement in management development programmes began years ago when, for example, we ran for the Celtel organization in Africa, in partnership with the Wits Business School of Johannesburg, a management development programme which attracted not fewer than 150 managers and senior managers from French-speaking Africa.
