Debate competition 29 September 2009


On September 29th, Charles Telfair Institute hosted a debate competition organized by the Rotary Club and the Skal Club of Mauritius. Three teams representing the University of Mauritius, l'Ecole Hôtelière Sir Gaetan Duval and Charles Telfair Institute, debated issues related to tourism in front of a jury and an auditorium full of students, academicians and guests.



The Charles Telfair Institute team: Elizabeth Potgieter, Kusum Fulena, Tatiana Leite and Youshrina Mungur, accompanied by Mr. Tauheed Ramjaun (lecturer) and Mrs. Touria Prayag (Head of Faculty of Humanities)

The prize of best speaker went to Kussum Fulena who is a student in Mass Communication at CTI for her outstanding performance.
