Jane Coffey putting into perspective performance management
Capitalizing on the visit of Jane Coffey of Curtin Business School, an expert on performance management, an interactive session was organized on Friday 28 May on Performance Management: Is it Worth the Investment? The participants were representatives of CTI shareholders, HR professionals, and academic staff and students of CTI.
The session started with a presentation by Jane Coffey putting into perspective performance management (PM) by outlining the concept, its history and theoretical components. She went on to discuss new developments in this field such as upward appraisal (subordinates' evaluation of boss), peer appraisal, team appraisal, and 360-degree feedback (multisource evaluation), whilst drawing on the expertise and experience of the audience.
