The Faculty of Accounting and Finance employs 13 full-time and part-time academic staff and has some 250 students enrolled. Its role as this country's pioneers in the teaching of accounting and finance is undisputed. More than 15 years ago, it foresaw the need for ACCA training and has become since this country's foremost expert in this area.

The current staff, together with its guest lecturers, makes an invaluable contribution to the Faculty's learning and teaching processes. In partnership with its two major Australian academic partners, Curtin University and Challenger Institute of Technology, the Faculty offers a full range of Subjects, Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees in the disciplines of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, and Taxation.

In addition the Faculty runs the professional Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) programme. Several of the past and current students are prize winners nationally and internationally.

To ensure transfer into the workplace, all final-year students have also to complete internships/work placements either with our shareholders or in other private companies.
