About APSA International
APSA International (Association Pour la Promotion de la Santé) was founded in 1988 as a non-profit organization and registered under Reg No: 2891. For over 35 years, APSA has been actively engaged in both medical and social initiatives. Since 1991, however, it has focused particularly on combating Type 2 Diabetes, directly contributing to the well-being of thousands of Mauritians.
In 2010, APSA opened its headquarters in Trianon, under the name ‘APSA Diabetes Care Centre.’ The centre provides a comprehensive approach to patient care and management, serving as a ‘one-stop shop’ offering a range of services for individuals with diabetes or those at risk. These services include one-on-one consultations with health professionals, foot-care treatments, neuro-rehabilitation programs, nutrition workshops, and group instructional sessions
